     The electricity, water, and telephone were all working when I got into the house, as I had arranged earlier. Long distance service was also scheduled and was not available.

     The result was that I ended a twenty-five year relation with AT&T and went with KISS.

     The only thing "wrong" with my telephone service is that I have been flooded with sales calls. There is one company that sent me FAXes at three in the morning (no kidding!) to buy stock from them. They gave a number to call to cancel the service that finally worked the third day I tried it.
